NEURO-LINGUSTIC PROGRAMMING (NLP)...

Neuro-Linguistic Programming™ (NLP™) is defined as the study of the structure of subjective experience and what can be calculated from that and is predicated upon the belief that all behavior has structure. People such as Virginia Satir, Milton Erickson and Fritz Perls had amazing results with their clients. They were some of the people whose linguistic and behavioral patterns Richard Bandler built formal models of. He then applied these models to his work.

Neuro:

Events are processed through the mind and nervous system via the five senses:

Visual   Auditory   Kinesthetic

Olfactory   Gustatory

Linguistic:

The language and nonverbal communication faculties that are filed, coded and made meaningful neurologically include:

Pictures   Sounds   Words (SelfTalk)

Tastes   Smells   Feelings

Programming:

The ability to discover, change and redesign communication and goal setting programs and strategies to actualize successful results.

NLP is how to utilize our neurology to produce self-talk and behaviors that generate successful results consistently and repeatedly.
