For
men & women
Microdermabrasion
is a non-surgical exfoliating procedure, done individually or in a series,
for revitalizing and maintaining the skin’s appearance and smoothness.
It can be used to address problem areas on the face or body.
Also know as the “Lunchtime Peel”, one session generally takes
30 minutes or so, and together neither special preparation before the
visit nor recuperation afterward.
Who
performs the microdermabrasion treatments?
Lynn
Radnay, licensed aesthetician, certified microdermabrasion technician,
performs all the microdermabrasion treatments.
Lynn has extensive skin-care experience and not only will treat you
with our new NewApeel™ System, but can also prescribe a personalized,
everyday skin care regimen with our Procyte® and Neaova® products for
maintaining healthy skin.
How does it work?
Our
medical microdermabrasion
equipment does not work with the typical crystals that are so messy and
difficult to clean up. Instead,
it uses diamond chips to gently
exfoliate the topmost layer of skin leaving it supple and vibrant. This NewApeel™ system uses a DiamondTone™ wand that has
the polishing action of diamond chips and the cleaning action of vacuum.
Please call 561-620-6262 if you have any questions on the NewApeel™
System.
Does
it hurt?
Microdermabrasion
treatments using the NewApeel™ System are painless yet effective.
The degree of exfoliation is controlled by a widely adjustable
vacuum in conjunction with the varying coarseness of the wands. Our licensed aesthetician is trained to evaluate the
effectiveness of the treatment while at the same time ensuring your
comfort.
How
long does the procedure take?
Generally,
the microdermabrasion procedure takes about 30 minutes, but with our
aesthetician’s special care and complimentary oxygen therapy treatment,
your session will probably last for 45 minutes.
